On Thursday April 12th, White Brook Middle School special education students participated in an Apple Store Field Trip. Students worked with Apple Creative Pros to learn how to use the Apple Pencil with the ProCreate app to draw, color, and sketch individual pieces of art. Additionally, students engaged with iPhone controlled robots and even got the chance to hone their own skills piloting the robots. Students enjoyed learning about and interacting with cutting edge technology and gained new skills to bring back to their classrooms. |

Celebration for breakfast kiosk and recess equipment, with visit from a Patriot!

Fuel Up to Play 60 grant allowed White Brook to purchase the items for this breakfast kiosk along with a recess cart filled with soccer balls, kick balls, hula hoops and jump ropes. This will help to encourage the students to eat healthy and be active during their recess break.

Want to get more involved in the White Brook Middle School community?
STEP (Students and Teachers Engaged with Parents) Are you interested in having a more active role in the school? Join STEP! STEP meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. Our first meeting will take place on October 13th. This group has been working with teachers and administration to make White Brook a beautiful place. Past projects include landscaping the front of the building and painting the gym. STEP has also generously supported many school and student initiatives.
School Council is another way to get involved at White Brook. The School Council is a small group of administrators, parents, teachers, and community members whose main goal is to work on the School Improvement Plan and review and update the school handbook. If you are interested, please submit your name and a short narrative stating why you would like to be on the School Council to the main office or through email at mbalise@epsd.us. Elections will take place during Open House night. School Council will be meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 5:30 - 6:30 pm in the guidance suite. Please click on the Nomination Form link.
